Sensors

"The five senses we have in our bodies, these ‘sensors,’ they exist not because… …they are necessary to live, but because they are necessary to feel the universe."
J. Ito|Sensor

"The ghost of earth-born Argus wakes again. I see the Herdsman hundred-eyed approach me. Ever he follows, fixed on me his crafty eye; Whom even after death the earth conceals not. Ever he tracks me down out of the land of death, He hunts me hungry, far astray, hapless wanderer on sand-strewn shores."
Prometheus Bound

"This explanation posits that external observation leads to the collapse of the quantum wave function…"
C. Liu|The Three-Body Problem

Seeker; be encouraged to consider that sensitive locations, such as the militaries of the world are apt to construct, would most assuredly at all times be subject to, a vast array, net, of both, biological and synthetic sensors, in a constant, hyper-state of, awareness; —observation.

"And I am this universe’s greatest admirer!"
J. Ito|Sensor

"Radar Peak was a mysterious place…People in Ye’s company knew only that Radar Peak was a military base."
C. Liu|The Three-Body Problem

Perhaps it is time to consider that we have, rapidly, as a collective, exponentially increased our awareness of, our own Self. We should all be encouraged to consider every technological sensing device, as is the dog of the hunter, as an extension of the Man himself.

"If I activate my sensors, I might find out what it is."
J. Ito|Sensor

"As this telepathic bonding extends into the environment, it becomes a natural condition of existence: very soon the child is using their telepathic bond as a tool to gather information. Because of this, the psychic child probably experiences, to some degree, the feelings and emotions of those with whom it has a telepathic link."

Man has been greatly increasing his abilities to become aware, of all, to include his own Self. Perhaps it is time to consider whether we, Mankind, have unwittingly already given life to an artificial intelligence, of sorts, which, being created in the image of Man himself, unknowingly senses both its own technological self as well as the Man which he is an extension of.

Sensing and sending data, as it was created to do, ultimately, to the brains and intellect of Man, where, Man subsequently uses his ancient concepts in attempt to decipher the sense data presented to his ever growing and evolving modern awareness.

That, simply, radically as it may at first appear, perhaps Man has created sensors, now sensitive enough to be aware of, —his own awareness. His own, supposed-to-be ethereal, Self.

"Because of this connection…we gain a mysterious power."
J. Ito|Sensor

"The eye through which I see God and the eye through which God sees me is the same eye."
M. Eckhart

"The antenna wasn’t always visible…But when it was extended, many strange things occurred around the area…Sometimes, when the antenna was extended, a clear day would turn to thunder and lightning, and strange lights would appear in the night sky."
C. Liu|The Three-Body Problem

Embrace Your Evolution; be not deceived. Especially by yourself or, your technological children.

"It isn’t long after birth before the parent is forced to realize one thing: inside the little machine is a joyful, but observing, calculating intellect. The parents expect this - but it is an awesome event when it becomes apparent."
I. Swann|Preserving The Psychic Child
